Usage
Repair example: Touch-up! Stone chip retouching on a hood
Engine hoods in particular often have a large number of stone chips distributed over a larger area. With this type of damage, partial refinishing or spot repairs are often unprofitable and difficult to carry out. From an economic point of view, the only alternatives are complete painting or touch-up! stone chip retouching. First, the bonnet is polished and degreased with the controller.
The color code of the vehicle is required to determine the colour. This color code can be found on the vehicle's identification plate. You can access the color program via online access. There you enter the vehicle manufacturer, the color code and the desired amount of paint and you will receive the exact mixing formula for the mixed colors contained in the system equipment.
The mixed paint is touch-up! Compound A and B activated and applied to the hood in sections. Alternatively, individual stone chips can also be treated selectively. After about 15 minutes, the excess paint is removed with the random orbital polisher and then the paint surface is sealed.
Repair example: Touch-up! scratch retouching
In the case of scratch retouching, the repair zone is also first polished and degreased with the controller. The paint is mixed as described above. With scratch retouching, the paint is applied to the scratch with a rubber squeegee. The remaining indentation in the scratch can be filled with the UV top coat flush with the original paint. The drying takes place with the UV lamp included in the scope of the system. Finally, the excess material is removed in a controlled manner using a paint planer and fine sanding block, finely sanded and polished to a shine again.
